OUR WEDDING INVITES
Whilst planning our wedding we have been conscious not to go overboard. We have taken the view of ‘you only do it once’ but I have stopped myself at the ‘now this is silly’ point. (James said no to the £600 ceiling canopy of fairy lights…)
However, for an added touch of luxe to our wedding stationery, we (well, I, haha) decided that having personalised wax seals would complete the look of our beautiful invites.
(My super talented bridesmaid designed our wedding stationery which deserves a post of it’s own – coming after the wedding!)
After scouring the internet, I realised I was already following @heirloomseals on Instagram, a wax seal company based in Ireland.
I loved their designs and went for Wedding Style #9 featuring our initials and wedding date. Check out their website for other designs here.
There are a variety of colours to choose from – we chose ‘blush’ and I am delighted with the result. They actually look more pink in real life than in these photos.
Little touches like this don’t break the bank but set the tone of your wedding – I love the elegant and regal effect that they give and we have had multiple compliments on them since sending out our invites last month!
Thank you to the lovely Diane for making them for us, I’m definitely keeping a few in our memory box to look back on in years to come!
