
It wasn’t until 2014 that I got the serious travel bug. I had been on lots of family holidays in lovely resorts but didn’t have much experience of anything off the beaten track.
James and I spent about 2 months in South-East Asia from July – September 2014 and I have outlined our itinerary below (very briefly).
I know lots of people that would love to travel but don’t necessarily know where to start when it comes to planning an itinerary so I really hope this post helps you make the decision to book that flight!
Now 5 years on, we still love exploring the globe together and it was this trip that gave me the confidence to do so.

We had an unforgettable trip and saw so much yet there is still a lot we had to miss out! I’m sure we will go back one day but I’m just not sure when. We always like to tick off new destinations first and we have a long list!
