Hi! Long time no blog post! My life was a bit of a whirlwind for a while what with the wedding, moving to Rutland and starting my new job but I’m now settled and back in some sort of routine! I was thrilled to start working with the amazing team at Off the Map Travel back in September – we design tailor-made luxury holidays to Scandinavia. In December I flew out to Swedish lapland for a jam-packed 8 days of adventure and I thought I would share it with you as I have had lots of messages about my trip and where we went etc.
We started up in Kiruna and made our way down to Lulea before heading back to the UK. There were 4 of us on the trip, the others were from different travel companies – we got on so well and had such a laugh. The week was packed with amazing experiences such as dog sledding, meeting a herd of reindeer, snowmobiling, hover crafting, ice sculpting and sleeping both in the famous ICEHOTEL and in a teepee when it was -24 degrees celsius outside!
Here are some of my favourite shots from the trip – if you are interested in the specific destinations or hope to visit yourself then please contact me directly through Off the Map Travel!
